Katie is almost all grown up...
Every morning during the week I park near the school and walk Katie to her classroom, help her get organized, and give her hugs; it's been like a tradition since her first day of Kindergarten. Last night she asked to be dropped off in front of her school because she wanted to try walking to her class by herself. Well, since Chris has been taking her to school for the last couple days, he's the one that got to experience the overwhelming feelings. He said, and I quote, "Man, that was hard."
Our baby is getting more independent. Next my name will go from "Mommy" to plain ole' "Mom".
